Kelvin's Tanjung Pinang Fiesta 01

Meet our team member for the boat fishing section...He is the offshore speciallist, Mr Kelvin Kay...He is the only team member who was the most skillfull and heavily experienced in most of the aspects of deep sea fishing today..Together, we were improving our fishing further ...either from testing and surveying new fishing products like the rod blanks, reels and various braided lines, even, to the tying of complicated shockleader knots....Pictured here shows his 1st Tanjung Pinang fishing trip for the year....A Kaci or Sweetlips of 3kg size....was caught in broad daylight there.....What a catch.....
A 4kg Sagai....or Trevally...caught....

Kelvin was having a moment of his life when something hugh was hooked...A fierce fight was on.....It was a solid HARD fight and after a long moment of tug-of -war, he mananged to gain some line back...The whatever fish was a fighter...but still being defeated by an experienced fisherman...Out came a Giant Cobia...It was safely landed...This one was hitting the scales at 11kg in weight....

Kelvin posing with the 11kg Cobia...Kind of reminding me of my Cobia caught during surfcasting at Changi Hyundai Reclaimed land in the late nintees....

A 8kg Stingray was hooked, giving Kelvin quite a workout.....

The total haul of the trip...a very satisfaction catch throughout.....
