Fiber Sampan Bottom Bashing...

Got an opportunity to go fishing today...and i've got an invitation to fish with our related uncle in his fiber sampan.... Me, with no worries, mate..

Kelvin checking his handphone reception...

Jacq and Tay adjusting themselves comfortably..

The front view of the fiber sampan and our weapons of choice...

We were fishing very close to the islands..

Jacq, posing for the camera, untill...suddenly, she striked, and the fight is on....

Her ultra light tackle, a customed G-Loomis paired with Shimano Calcutta 50 was being tested to the limit...

A 1kg Grouper was netted after a brief good strong fight...

Kelvin was in his lara croff posing form too, till....

He's got a strong nibble and thus, striked and game on.....

A 800g Grouper was posing with him...

Jacq was into the action again when her rod was bended furiously...a tug-of-war resumes...with, at last, the culprit was beaten, a 1kg Grouper was it...and it was on steroids...

Tay, with a smiling grin on his face, breaking his duck..by landing a 600g Ang Chor Ki or Fingermark snapper....

At long last, it's my turn to break the egg..
I striked my G-loomis gl2 rod hard even to a small nibble...

Light sports-fishing was fun and out came a 600g Ang GoLi...

Lucky, i break the duck...phew..!

Ikan Kerisi was the red devil...for me...today..

Kelvin was in fine form when he'd striked on a soft bite from his self-build customed P1-2 rod coupled with a vintage Penn Levelmatic 940...

With a series of short fast pumped stroked..he subdued a 800g Grouper...

The total catch with the other smaller species being released alive...

Tks....for ur time...and 'Tight Lines" always...
